- Survive!”

Tron: Legacy

Eastern Europe region is so popular place for outsourcing and many really big customers hired huge teams here. From the outsourcing point of view it’s a great thing but Agile is suffering… Have you ever seen this? If your answer is “No”, you are lucky and there is nothing to do on the presentation, but if your answer is “Yes” welcome and see how we achieved great results in enterprise environment.

You have to write dozens of docs like risk management plan, release plan, requirements specifications and many more. When you are asking “What is the reason of doing this?” you will likely hear something like “Agile is good, but we have our own process and Agile has to be adopted to ours”.

Two main things that helped us avoid many stupid procedures and make the Customer happy:

  • Combining SCRUM with Kanban practices - First thing helped us support the “immediate requirements” through “express line”.
  • Introducing several Product Owners for a team (Wait, don’t say “OMG! It’s not agile” J) – makes all happy with requirements and risk-management.

So, 30 minutes on two interesting topics you may use with your Enterprise customer.
