The 80% case. Surprising results of iterative A/B testing at Allegro.
It may be difficult to make any use of iterative and quick optimization and validation of ideas on the oil tanker. However, A/B testing conducted for optimizing offered functionalities and analysing the reaction of users to new solutions and ideas is common at Allegro. We test anything from minor text editing to significant process changes to be often surprised by the results. We will prove that the Pareto principle applies to A/B testing and that Allegro definitely follows the worldwide standards. We will present how to test a solution you do not have on a group of 100,000 people, and how iterative approach helped us modify one form, thus increase the conversion by 80%.
